About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kidz Planet childcare center. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, supporting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the well-being and development of children
  • Lead activities that foster learning, creativity, and social skills in children
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community service providers to provide comprehensive support to children and families
  • Observe and report on children's progress, identifying areas for support and development
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in childcare or education
  • Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality care and education to our children.
