About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at RA SONI INC. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as manage benefits and other employee-related expenses.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, as well as maintain accurate records of tax payments and refunds.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and balance general ledgers, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
