Job Title:

We are seeking an Apprentice Technician (AVN or AVS) to join our team and perform aircraft maintenance on the Cormorant Helicopter in support of Canadian Search and Rescue operations. As an apprentice, you will receive guidance and training from experienced technicians to advance your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct On Job Experience (OJE) and On Job Training (OJT) for servicing tasks, elementary tasks, and work on aircraft mechanical, structural, and electrical systems.
  • Participate in ramp duties, fly as needed for maintenance operations, and receive training for career development purposes.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized aircraft maintenance program.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in using computer programs and aircraft maintenance equipment.
  • Eligibility for Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Secret Level II Security Clearance.
