Job Title: PDC Supervisor

Mobis Parts Canada Corporation is seeking a highly skilled PDC Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our distribution operations, you will be responsible for supervising the operational responsibilities of the PDC, managing staff, and making recommendations on improvements to workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the operations of the PDC shipping/receiving tasks efficiently and ensure all operational deadlines are met daily
  • Safeguard that OHSA & JHSC rules & regulations are met or exceeded throughout all PDC operations
  • Schedule staff, daily and long-term, to coordinate with current and expected workflow demands
  • Train, coach, develop, mentor and discipline PDC staff as required
  • Monitor and delegate workflow to ensure deadlines are met
  • Administer/improve daily/weekly/monthly workflow reports
  • Administer/improve employee productivity reports
  • Create open dialogue with staff and keep team informed of corporate direction and developments
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of equipment and machinery
  • Maintain both inventory and location accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the PDC(3R,5S)
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in distribution, logistics or supply chain management
  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory position preferably in a distribution environment
  • Degree/diploma in logistics/supply chain or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to provide clear and concise instruction
  • Ability to coach and manage others
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Team oriented and customer service focused
  • Valid MHE license: Reach Truck, Counter Balance & Order Picker
  • Valid TDG certificate
