WSP Canada is seeking an intermediate or senior technician to contribute to their building electrical division.

Reporting to the Electrical Director, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project teams with the following key responsibilities:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop plans and specifications utilizing calculation tools and CAD software;
  • Ensure that plans and specifications comply with relevant guidelines, codes, and regulations;
  • Provide assistance to project technicians and drafters as required;
  • Undertake additional tasks as necessary to facilitate project completion.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A college diploma in electrical engineering or a related field;
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in building electrical design and CAD applications;
  • Strong initiative, independence, and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment;
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD software is advantageous;
  • Bilingualism is considered a plus.
