Job Summary

The University Health Network is seeking a skilled Nutrition Porter to join our team. As a Nutrition Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our nutrition services department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform teardown and cleaning of patient trays
  • Collect and dispose of garbage
  • Deliver patient food carts and items to designated locations
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • 3-6 months of practical experience and/or 1-3 months of on-the-job training
  • Ability to read and understand short notes and brief forms
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including lifting and pushing heavy food carts
