Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Lead to join our team for the Steam Generator Replacement project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the execution of Inspection and Test Plans
- Perform quality inspections in accordance with the project's quality program, related codes, and customer specifications
- Review Certified Material Test Reports as required
- Perform internal weld monitoring as required
- Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections
- Writing and tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests
- Support site QC activities associated with the project requirements
- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level
- W178 Level 2 Visual Weld inspection
- Knowledgeable in ASME Code, B&PV plus Nuclear, CWB experience, and other Technical Standards and Codes associated with the project
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Previous experience in receiving inspections and controls within a Nuclear Qualified Program would be considered an asset
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization with view to implementing quality requirements and objectives
