Your primary duties will include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, strategize, execute, and provide individualized nursing and personal care to patients. You will also be responsible for administering a variety of medications in accordance with established protocols.
As a Practical Nursing Specialist, you will function within defined competency standards and adhere to the comprehensive scope of practice as outlined by the regulatory body. Compliance with our organizational policies, procedures, and unit-specific guidelines is essential.
This role offers a Flexible work arrangement, where hours may vary and shifts can be scheduled on short notice. Casual staff members are encouraged to pursue permanent or temporary positions within the organization. Many professionals at Interior Health have successfully transitioned from casual roles to permanent employment.
The hourly compensation for this position will range from $32.84 to $41.35.
