About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardlock Territory Manager to join our team at Parkland Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient site operations, managing OPEX for the territory, and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Operations Management
    • Lead the implementation of safe and efficient site operations procedures.
    • Ensure all site operators are trained and follow proper safety protocols.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and workplace observations to ensure compliance with safety standards.
    • Act as the main point of contact for third-party contractors, agents, and dealers who operate our sites.
  • Profit & Loss Management
    • Ensure all sites within the territory meet their profitability targets.
    • Work with Finance to identify opportunities to reduce expenses and with Sales to prioritize focus areas for volume growth.
    • Coding and approval of operational invoices at corporate sites within the territory.
    • Evaluate requests from third-party operators for additional expenses or increased compensation.
  • Business Growth and Development
    • Identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses and improve site profitability.
    • Work with the Sales team to identify priority focus areas for volume growth.
    • Act as the business point-of-contact in working with the Facilities team to prioritize and execute desired maintenance or construction/expansion.
    • Act as the business point-of-contact in working with the Real Estate team to manage leases.
    Requirements
    • College or university degree or equivalent experience.
    • 3-5 years' experience in operations management.
    • 3-5 years' industry experience in the fuel business, cardlock, or general retail.
    • 3-5 years' experience with regional or national distributed operations.
    • Willingness to travel within the province, including overnight trips.
    • Bilingualism is an asset.
    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
