The Role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As a key member of our HR team, you will work closely with managers and employees to support the achievement of our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR expertise and assistance to managers in people management and talent development.
  • Develop and implement HR programs and solutions that meet the needs of our business units.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Coach and counsel managers on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary issues.
  • Participate in talent identification and succession planning initiatives.
  • Support workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism (French) is mandatory.
  • Excellent English oral and writing skills.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in an HR client service-facing position and/or involvement in recruitment activities.
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management.
  • Knowledge of Employment Standards Acts, Human Rights, Labour Laws, and Health and Safety.
  • Member of the Chartered Human Resources Profession (or CPHR Candidate) is an asset.
