We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at SUCH A GOOD SUPPLY CHAIN INC. as a Logistics Planner.
Key Responsibilities- Compile and analyze orders and instructions received from customers to ensure accurate and efficient logistics operations.
- Develop and implement operational logistics plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and warehouse units, to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and track the movement of supplies and materials between departments to identify areas for improvement.
- Compile and review worksheets and specifications of orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Consult with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Coordinate and assign work to team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment.
- Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Free parking available on site.
- Permanent full-time position.
- 40 hours per week.
- Work language: English.
