About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Mag Events Ltd. as a key member of our hospitality staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Point of Sale: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings.
  • Menu Guidance: Advise customers on menu selections, making recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and record sales accurately, maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Patron Greeting: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Order Taking: Take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, ensuring seamless service.
  • Staff Training: Train staff members on customer service, food and beverage service, and other relevant skills.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
