Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Banquet Server to join our team at the Westin Calgary Airport. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, exceeding their expectations and ensuring a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and execute events, ensuring banquet spaces, lobby, public areas, and storage areas are "picture perfect" for optimal first impressions.
  • Prepare and set up banquet spaces according to specified plans, including table arrangements, decorations, table linens, table settings, etc.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly, courteously, and professionally.
  • Assist in the assembly and breakdown of all banquet displays and decorations.
  • Clear tables and clean banquet areas after events, ensuring spaces are ready for future use.
  • Adhere to all regulations governing the service of food and alcohol.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server or in a food & beverage position is an asset.
  • Tech savvy.
  • ProServe certification is an asset but not required.
