Job Title: Patient Relations Specialist

At North York General Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and experience. As a Patient Relations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients and families receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with healthcare teams and leadership to build capacity and leadership for concerns to be managed at the local level.
  • Support patients, families, staff, physicians, and volunteers in the compliment and concern process.
  • Collaborate with Patient Safety and Risk Management Specialists and Quality Improvement Specialists as required.
  • Provide support for hospital initiatives focused on patient and family experience, quality, safety, and risk.
Requirements:
  • Regulated Health Professional with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience preferred.
  • Member of a Regulated College in Ontario.
  • Undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Experience in a Patient and Family Relations Role preferred.
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset.
