Key Responsibilities:- Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality nursing care to residents
- Supervise and mentor care staff to ensure excellent care services are provided
- Conduct assessments of residents and develop personalized care plans
- Establish priorities based on individual resident needs
- Ensure compliance with resident assessments, care plans, and community policies
- Manage risk by adhering to thorough monthly care-related audits
- Administer medications as required
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing with CLPNA
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond to emergency situations
- Experience working with seniors in a retirement or long-term care facility environment is an asset
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
