Job Summary
Fountain Tire is seeking an experienced Tire Service Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger, light truck, medium truck, farm, industrial, and OTR tires and wheels in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect tires and wheels and deliver onsite customer tire maintenance programs
- Reset and repair tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- Complete specialty tire work
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and supplies are returned in good working condition to proper location
- Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Accurate and professional customer service
- Maintain tire service equipment
- Understand and adhere to safe operation of all equipment
Requirements
- One year of tire-related experience (OTR experience)
- High school diploma
- Ability to maintain a valid driver's license and provide a satisfactory Driver's Abstract
- A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to consistently lift 25 kilogram
- Individual who can accept effective feedback and follow tasks as requested
