About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director, Logistics Operations to join our team at Haulster Transport Ltd. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our trucking company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
  • Departmental Management: Oversee the establishment and management of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Policy Development: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior operations management role.
  • Supervision: More than 20 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal awareness.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
