Quality Assurance Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our Quality Verification team in the development of our Sims franchise. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for driving software and game quality to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Quality Verification team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software and games.
- Quality Planning: Develop and implement quality plans, processes, and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in our software and games.
- Quality Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track quality metrics, providing regular reports to stakeholders on quality performance and trends.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and production, to ensure seamless integration of quality processes and procedures.
- Talent Development and Management: Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing Quality Verification team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize quality processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including test strategy, test methodologies, test automation, and people management.
- 7+ years of experience in people management, including talent development, performance management, and team leadership.
- 5+ years of experience with project management and bug tracking tools, such as Jira and Qmetry, in an agile framework.
- Experience working within a collaborative team environment across multiple locations and time zones.
What We Offer:
Electronic Arts Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $115,100 - $161,200 CAN Annually, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including vacation time, sick leave, extended health and dental coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and a retirement plan.
