Job Description

We are seeking qualified Elementary Teachers to join our team at Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board.

Job Summary:

This posting is open to Teachers on the Occasional Teachers List currently employed by Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board and external applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Elementary students in a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve school goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
  • Division & Subject Specific Qualifications
  • Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate and Drama or Music or Visual Arts Qualifications of IAT positions
  • Minimum of one (1) LTO assignment that was a minimum of four (4) months in duration, and, whose last evaluation resulted in a satisfactory rating
