Job Summary

The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This includes planning and organizing daily operations, evaluating daily progress, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate subcontractors' activities and ensure they meet project requirements
  • Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure project success
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates
  • Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, ensuring high-quality workmanship
  • Plan and manage budgets, including directing the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
  • Develop and implement quality control programs, ensuring projects meet quality standards
  • Develop risk management plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure project success
  • Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform project decisions
  • Prepare reports to stakeholders, including project progress and budget updates
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in construction project management
  • Or equivalent experience
