Overview

The Site Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing scheduled maintenance tasks on the grounds. In this position, you will report directly to the Aggregates Production Lead Hand and collaborate effectively with the Saskatoon Aggregates team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct various types of manual labor.
  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.
  • Operate vehicles and small mobile machinery, including skid steers, as necessary.
  • Clear spillage around conveyor systems.
  • Uphold the safety of personnel, the surrounding community, and the environment.
  • Identify and implement Best Practices in operations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and assist in the development of team members while mediating conflicts.
  • Recognize and report product issues and relevant information.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Achieve established safety objectives.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations set by the company.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the year.
  • A proactive and positive approach to teamwork and safety.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance tasks.
