Are you dedicated to ensuring the safety of others? Join our team as a Night Security Officer, where your primary focus will be on maintaining a secure environment for our guests.
As a vigilant observer, you will ensure that our visitors feel safe and protected during their stay. A valid driving license is essential, and an SIA Door Supervisor license is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
This role goes beyond typical security duties. Based at our stunning holiday resorts, you will not only safeguard our guests but also assist them with any needs that arise.
Your role will involve:
- Welcoming guests and monitoring vehicle access to the park.
- Conducting foot and vehicle patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Assisting guests with any issues that may occur outside of regular hours.
- Maintaining a constant security presence, being proactive and responsive.
- Responding to emergency situations as they arise.
- Providing guests with information about the park and local area.
You will interact with guests in a professional manner, addressing inquiries and ensuring a safe environment for everyone. Completing patrol logs and reporting incidents will be part of your responsibilities, as well as responding to any alarms, including first aid and fire emergencies. Your vigilance will be crucial in identifying and reporting any suspicious activities.
Additionally, flexibility is key, as holiday periods often require work during weekends and bank holidays.
Skills and Qualifications
This position is ideal for individuals with the right mindset, and we will provide comprehensive training. The essential requirements include:
- Full Driving Licence.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a friendly atmosphere for our guests.
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Association) licence is desirable.
- Physical fitness, as the role involves considerable movement around the park.
- Availability for full night shifts.
