About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our team at KPMG-Canada. As a key member of our Private Enterprise Tax practice, you will play a critical role in servicing the planning and compliance needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of complex tax issues, including assistance with structuring of domestic and international investments.
  • Prepare and review corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
  • Develop and prepare draft technical memos, instruction letters, and client reporting letters for review by senior staff members.
  • Design and implement income tax models.
  • Review and analyze corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Assist senior staff members in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives.
Requirements
  • Accounting or business diploma.
  • Enrolled in the CPA program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with a public accounting firm.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain high quality of service and products to both internal and external clients.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of client businesses, issues, and markets.
