Overview

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing the planning and compliance needs of our clients, providing qualitative and quantitative analysis and assessment. This role offers the opportunity to participate in a broad range of tax-related work, including research, analysis, and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of tax issues, including assistance with structuring of domestic and international investments.
  • Prepare corporate, partnership, trust, and personal tax returns.
  • Develop and prepare draft technical memos, instruction letters, and client reporting letters.
  • Prepare income tax models and review corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Review tax provisions for larger audit and non-audit clients.
  • Interact with clients and other team members to ensure high-quality service and products.
  • Assist senior staff members in all aspects of corporate tax initiatives.

Requirements

  • Accounting or business diploma.
  • Enrolled in the CPA program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with a public accounting firm.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to monitor and uphold high-quality service and products.
  • Skilled at developing an understanding of client businesses, issues, and markets.
