Position Overview: Landscape Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the evaluation of urban and landscape integration for significant infrastructure initiatives in both urban and natural environments.
  • Assess environmental considerations for projects related to hydroelectric power, wind energy, digital infrastructure, transportation networks, and real estate development.
  • Perform site assessments to identify strategic, technical, spatial, landscape, environmental, and regulatory challenges that inform design processes.
  • Develop comprehensive master plans and pertinent analyses.
  • Engage in innovative research focusing on environmental assessment techniques, landscape studies, and the integration of design principles.
  • Design and plan public spaces, parks, recreational areas, pathways, and parking facilities, taking into account environmental, human, functional, morphological, aesthetic, and economic factors.
  • Produce layout sketches, initial plans, and budget estimates.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to propose effective project solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, urban planning, environmental science, geography, or related disciplines.
  • A Master's degree in a relevant area is advantageous.
  • At least ten years of experience in a comparable position.
  • Proficient in written and spoken French, with basic proficiency in English.
  • Strong independence and research capabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are necessary.
  • Proficient in MS Office; skills in Photoshop and InDesign are beneficial.
