Job Summary
As a key member of our kitchen team at Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants, the Dishwasher - Peacock will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dish area and dish machines. Under the direction of the Back of House Management Team, this individual will be responsible for cleaning, polishing, and putting away all front of house glassware and utensils.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashers efficiently to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Wash and sanitize glassware and flatware to meet our high standards of cleanliness.
- Polish all glassware and flatware to a high shine.
- Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, dish carts, and dish racks to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Assist in receiving and stocking supplies and products in a timely and organized manner.
- Safely handle and store cleaning products to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform general dish area maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, organization, and garbage removal.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Back of House Management Team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience working in a dishwasher role or similar environment is an asset.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Ability to take direction and remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and organized individual with strong multi-tasking skills.
- Able to spend 100% of the time standing, with regular breaks as needed.
