Tax Leadership Position

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Domestic Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax advisory services to our clients, driving business growth, and leading a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate client business processes and policies, advising on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and develop proactive tax strategies to make business opportunities effective.
- Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues relevant to the client's business.
- Provide both technical and project management leadership to team members for Domestic Tax projects or assignments, and ensure quality control standards are in place.
- Identify, as well as develop and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities. This includes preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations, and reviewing corporate, trust and estate tax returns.
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.
- Completed CPA designation as well as the In-Depth Tax Program and/or Master's in Tax.
- 7 years' experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 3 years.
- Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance.
- Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
