The Role: Engineering Student - Bilingual Opportunity
We are seeking highly motivated and talented bilingual Engineering Students to join our team in Ottawa. As an Engineering Student, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic construction environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing to various aspects of project execution.
Responsibilities:- Conduct site inspections and identify potential deficiencies.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors.
- Track project progress and document any issues or deviations.
- Verify site conditions against drawings and quality assurance standards.
- Assist in updating construction drawings and documentation.
- Review trade quotes and verify material quantities, labor hours, and rates.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Pursuing a degree or diploma in civil engineering or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheets, and drafting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
