Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Train and Supervise Staff: Train and supervise food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality food.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and addressing any issues promptly.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure that our food service operations are profitable.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our food service operations are running efficiently.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on food service operations and customer feedback.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Setting: Restaurant.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with high pressure to meet customer demands.
- Standing and Walking: Stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
- Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and focus on meeting customer needs.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management.
- Flexibility: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with staff to achieve team goals.
