Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapy department at Hamilton Health Sciences is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in various units, including ICU E/S, CCU, and the Regional Burn Unit.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients in ICU E/S, CCU, and other specialized units
- Collaborate with physicians and RNs to develop and implement patient care plans
- Operate the Hyperbaric Unit and provide hyperbaric care to patients
- Participate in Code Blue team and RACE team
- Contribute to a culture of patient and staff safety
- Graduate of an accredited program in Respiratory Therapy
- Current General Registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO)
- Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care (CBRC) exam
- Valid BCLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent experience in adult critical care setting
- Recent RACE experience preferred
- Recent hyperbaric experience and/or training preferred
