Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Fishermen's Premium Atlantic Lobster Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer, transporting goods across various routes, and ensuring timely delivery of cargo. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes, ensuring timely delivery of cargo and minimizing delays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure the tractor-trailer is in good working condition.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of transportation, including driver logs, cargo information, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience as a truck driver.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks), Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, First Aid Certificate, and Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Language: English.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Environment: Various routes, including local and short-haul transportation.
