About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Principal Architect to join our growing Cloud Native Applications team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering maximum value to our clients through discovery, design, and delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs). Your goal will be to understand our clients' needs and showcase how Caylent can help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prioritize up to 4 different workstreams at a given time, including client engagements, internal projects, and content deadlines.
  2. Interface with clients to conduct discovery, create technical artifacts, and present solutions.
  3. Kickoff new client engagements and represent Caylent positively.
  4. Aid in the development and review of proposals and contracts.
  5. Perform technical interviews for Architect and Engineer candidates.
  6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Architects and Engineers.
  7. Develop public-facing content that showcases Caylent's work and expertise.
Requirements
  1. Expertise in AWS and multiple coding languages (nodejs, go, react, angular, typescript, python, etc).
  2. Great verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Experience managing professional services engagements.
  4. Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and being cross-functional.
  5. Possess a natural curiosity and excitement for solving complex technical problems and learning new technology.
  6. Technical background in application development.
  7. Expertise working in client-facing environments.
  8. Expertise building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience working in consulting or professional services.
  2. Experience with testing and automation.
  3. Experience or exposure with UI/UX related deliverables.
  4. Experience with other cloud-related solutions.
