Retail Store Manager

Showcase is a dynamic and innovative retailer with a presence in top malls throughout Canada and the USA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team in Lougheed and Metrotown.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for helping lead a team of sales associates, ensuring the store runs smoothly and profitably, and providing excellent customer service. You will report directly to the Store Manager and be responsible for working with them to achieve sales goals and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations and achieve sales targets
- Create a positive and engaging environment for both customers and associates
- Analyze sales and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and execute strategies to drive traffic and sales, including social media and community outreach programs
- Ensure that the store is visually appealing and merchandised to showcase our products effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and work with the Store and District Manager to manage inventory
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced retail environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing trends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Experience in the health, beauty, home, toys, tech or food industry is a plus
