Job Title: Retail Store Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Parkgate Farm Market. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets its sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules to ensure efficient store operations.
- Sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that our store is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
