Job Title: Environmental Technician

RocMar Engineering Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient removal of hazardous materials from buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to identify potential environmental hazards.
  • Remove asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, and mold and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement environmental remediation plans.
  • Conduct site assessments and monitor environmental conditions to ensure safe working practices.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of environmental activities and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in environmental remediation, hazardous materials removal, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
