Job Title: Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Conestoga Cold Storage Limited. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based applications using leading-edge technologies such as Python, JavaScript, Flask, and Vue.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop intuitive web-based user interfaces for internal use and external customers.
  • Develop new features and improvements to our Warehouse Management Systems, dashboards, automated reporting, and intranet sites.
  • Collaborate with senior software architects to improve our software development process, including back-end tools to drive improvements to our Continuous Integration process.
  • Communicate with customers and employees to evaluate requests for enhancements to existing programs or develop new ones.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue/React/Angular).
  • Experience with a Linux O/S, Docker, and Git.
  • Oracle database knowledge.
  • Experience in developing A.I models (preferred).
  • Warehouse/Material handling experience (preferred).
  • Business development experience (preferred).
  • Previous Management experience (preferred).

Work Environment:

Our technology centre is a brand new, state-of-the-art facility. This role requires working in a refrigerated and freezer environment occasionally. Overtime may be required on occasion.
