About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Avani Homes Inc. as a key member of our fabrication department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to ensure high-quality fabrication of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe working practices in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in metal fabrication and welding.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
