Job Title: Family Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at JOSHUA INC.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. This includes conducting thorough medical examinations, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, and prescribing medications as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
  • Advise patients on health care
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
  • Provide emergency care
Requirements
  • College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in an urban area, ambulatory care centre, or clinic setting. They will be required to work 32 to 40 hours per week.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
