Job Title: Continuing Care Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Richmond Housing Corporation. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and transferring
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to the healthcare team
  • Assist with medication administration and documentation
  • Participate in resident care planning and implementation
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role
