Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) specialist to join our team at Levy's Machine Works Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, as well as developing computer applications for machines and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts
  • Develop and implement computer applications for machine control and process optimization
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate part production
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to meet production deadlines
  • Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and complete inspection reports
  • Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools as needed
  • Organize tasks to ensure efficient production workflow
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 5 years or more in CNC machining and programming
  • Strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. Physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
