Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computer Numerical Control (CNC) specialist to join our team at Levy's Machine Works Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, developing computer applications for machines and processes, and ensuring the accuracy and conformance to specifications of machined parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and adjust production machineries/tools to ensure optimal performance
  • Operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts
  • Develop and implement computer applications for machines and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications
  • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
Requirements
  • 5 years or more of experience in CNC machining and programming
  • Strong knowledge of computer numerical control systems and machine tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a high level of attention to detail and physical demands. The position requires standing for extended periods and working with precision measuring instruments.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The work schedule is 30 to 40 hours per week.
