We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at 2347496 ONTARIO LTD.

Job Summary:

The Head Cashier will be responsible for managing the cash handling process, including receiving and processing payments, making change, and balancing the cash register. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cash handling process, including receiving and processing payments, making change, and balancing the cash register
  • Supervise and train cashiers to ensure accurate and efficient cash handling
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including stockroom and sales floor
  • Work effectively in a team environment to achieve sales and customer service goals
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a cash handling role
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work environment is air-conditioned and the work setting is a retail business.
