Technical Trainee Opportunity at Engineered Air
Engineered Air, a leading manufacturer of custom Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning units, is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our design, manufacturing, service, or sales teams. As a Technical Trainee, you will have the opportunity to rotate throughout our company in various manufacturing and design modules, gaining a broad knowledge of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment performance data and specifications.
- Detailed mechanical layout of air handling units.
- Special construction details.
- Hydronic or gas piping schematics.
- Electrical wiring schematics.
- Complete description of control sequence of operation.
Requirements:
- HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical degree/diploma preferred.
- One to two years of related summer employment in design, production, or service experience is an asset.
- Knowledge in HVAC and control systems, AutoCAD and MS Windows is desirable.
- Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
