Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Boundary Trails Health Centre. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a talented inter-disciplinary team to provide pediatric Speech-Language Pathology outpatient and community-based services
  • Utilize a social-emotional, neuro-developmental, and play-based focused program to provide a client/family-centered approach to care
  • Work in partnership with other staff to provide feeding and swallowing services for children and youth
  • Anticipate providing increased feeding and swallowing services in a new Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) slated for completion in 2025
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Skilled ability in the assessment, identification, and treatment of clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal
