Retail Store Manager

At Petro-Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our store staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. * Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional customer service
* Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to meet the needs of our customers
* Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures
* Order merchandise and maintain accurate inventory levels
* Authorize return of merchandise and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner
* Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
* Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Requirements:
* 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
