Job Title: Grounds Maintainer

We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintainer to join our team at Greenbrier Landscaping Inc. As a Grounds Maintainer, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass, rake, and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy outdoor environment.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including chain saws, pick-up trucks, and rototillers.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to keep management informed.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and well-being.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail to ensure quality work.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
