We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Management Professional to join our team at Recruitment Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our Accounting and Payroll department and providing strategic financial guidance to support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the Accounting and Payroll team, ensuring the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Cost Analysis and Optimization: Conduct cost analysis to optimize manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present periodic financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, variances, and trends.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulatory requirements, industry regulations, and professional accounting standards, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Team Development and Coaching: Mentor and coach finance team members, fostering their professional growth and development, and develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the Finance team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Skills: Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, experience managing cost of goods sold, proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
