Central Fill Pharmacy Technician

London Drugs Limited is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Central Fill Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our Distribution Service Centre in Richmond, BC.

About the Role

As a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists and pharmacy managers with daily operations of the Pharmacy Department. Your duties will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to customer inquiries
  • Operating the pharmacy computer and assisting in the processing of prescriptions and preparation of prescriptions
  • Managing the pharmacy department inventory and ordering and receiving drug orders
  • Participating in professional roles such as Travel Medicine, INR monitoring, CDE, and Long term care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the College of Pharmacists (in the province of employment) is mandatory
  • Good interpersonal skills when dealing with clients, staff, and management
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter with a high level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to relate to all levels of customers and their needs
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work as a team player and have a team approach
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience preferable
