About the Role

Citi - Plex Drywall Ltd is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets and finishing them to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Install Metal Corner Beads: Protect exterior corners by installing metal corner beads.
  • Fill Joints and Imperfections: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure and Install Drywall Sheets: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Secure Sheets to Studs or Joists: Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Smooth Out Excess Compound: Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry.
  • Tape Over Joints: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
