Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of technical claims professionals in managing complex claims related to E&O, Cyber, Crime, D&O, EPL, Fiduciary, and Environmental policies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve customer satisfaction targets and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and provide claims insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performing team by attracting, onboarding, recruiting, and retaining top talent.
  • Drive the performance management process by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback, and facilitating employee development.
Requirements
  • Required: Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in Specialty Claims, or Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in Specialty Claims, and 2 or more years of people management experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills.
  • Experience collaborating across work groups.
  • Knowledge of insurance legal statutes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment.
  • Organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong data research and analytical skills.
  • Training and presentation skills.
  • Travel 25%.
